Children's Ministry
Emanuel has exciting year-round ministries to young people.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Our Sunday School ministry is an exciting biblically-based discipleship based on Jesus’ simple call to discipleship: “Follow me.”
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS
Mid-week activities combine Bible studies with activities of growth and service, along with Christian fellowship. A meal is provided on Wednesdays to encourage youth and adults to connect and share life as God’s people.
FIRST COMMUNION
Youths in fifth grade or older are invited to take part in First Communion Instruction. Two sessions of preparation take place in the Fall and youth who complete the class receive their First Commmunion in November.
CONFIRMATION CLASSES
The confirmation program is for seventh and eighth graders. Students receive instruction weekly, serve as acolytes and crucifers for Sunday morning worship, perform community service, and participate in a variety of activities to help them grow in their relationship to God and their relationships to one another.
